Who we are
DocForge provides Word document automation. This site is docforge.live; the application runs at app.docforge.live. For anything in this policy, contact sales@docforge.live.
What we store
- Your account email and password, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase). We never see your password.
- The documents you upload and the documents DocForge generates for you.
- AI provider keys you add in Settings. They are stored server-side and are write-only, the application never returns them to the browser.
- Per-action token and cost metrics for the AI actions you run.
How your documents are processed
Documents are processed inside your DocForge instance. Content is sent to an AI provider only when you connect one, with your own key, under your agreement with that provider. If no provider is connected, processing is deterministic and nothing leaves the instance.
We do not use your documents to train models.
Retention and deletion
Generated documents are automatically deleted after 14 days (configurable per deployment). You can delete templates and documents at any time, and you can delete your entire account with all of its data yourself from Settings.
Data isolation
Accounts are strictly separated. Your templates, projects and documents are reachable only from your account.
Hosting and subprocessors
The managed service uses Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database, file storage and authentication), and, only if you connect one, the AI provider of your choice. Self-hosted deployments run entirely on your own infrastructure.
Cookies and local storage
This website stores a single theme preference in your browser's localStorage. It sets no advertising trackers. The application uses the cookies required for signing you in.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time, most of it you can view and delete yourself in the app. For anything else, email us.
