Your documents stay in your instance.
Documents are processed inside your DocForge instance. Content reaches an AI provider only when you connect one, with your own key, under your agreement. OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek, or a local model. Keys are stored server-side and never returned to the browser. With AI off, a deterministic engine does the work.
Generated documents auto-delete after 14 days (configurable). Accounts are strictly isolated, and you can delete your account and all its data yourself.

The same product runs in our cloud or on your hardware. The backend is stateless, it fits Kubernetes and serverless as well as a single Docker host.
