Where does our data live?
In your DocForge instance. Content is sent to an AI provider only if you connect one, with your own key. Generated documents auto-delete after 14 days (configurable).
Can we self-host?
Yes. Docker Compose on one machine, or a stateless backend on Kubernetes or serverless with Postgres. Licenses include deployment assistance.
Which AI providers can we use?
OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, including local models like Ollama and LM Studio. Keys are stored server-side and never returned. DocForge also runs with AI off.
What does the free plan include?
Everything one user needs: unlimited templates, generation, compliance checks. No card, no time limit.
Do you train on our data?
No. Your documents are used only to build your templates and generate your documents. With your own key, content goes to your chosen provider under your agreement with them.
